Dental Chair Assistant
Melville, Johannesburg
De Necker Dentistry in Melville is looking for a qualified and professional Dental Chair Assistant to join our dedicated team.
Requirements:
• Must be registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Must be a team player who can adapt in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A passion for patient care and high standards of hygiene and sterilisation practices
• Photos must accompany your CV
Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe clinical environment
• Provide comfort and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation
• Collaborate with the dental and support teams to maintain high standards of care

ORAL HYGIENIST
George, Western Cape
Start Date: May 2025
De Necker Dentistry is excited to expand our dedicated team with a passionate and skilled Oral Hygienist. We’re looking for a candidate who is not only qualified and experienced but also eager to grow professionally in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality oral hygiene services to patients, including scaling, polishing, and preventative care.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, tailored to their individual needs.
Work closely with our dentists and other team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.
Stay updated with the latest techniques, technologies, and practices in oral hygiene and dental care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Some relevant experience as an Oral Hygienist is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and care.
A proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety.
