DENTAL CHAIR ASSISTANT
George, Western Cape
De Necker Dentistry in George, Western Cape, is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified Dental Chair Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Take and process dental X-rays as required.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Requirements:
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Chair Assistant.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
